Charlotte Taylor, Psy.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Charlotte is a Psychologist who is passionate about helping clients break free from the cycles of frustration and dissatisfaction that keep them feeling stuck. Many of the individuals with whom she has worked have reached a point where they feel trapped in their emotions—whether that’s anxiety, depression, anger, or self-destructive behaviors like addiction or suicidal ideation. They often experience a sense of isolation, whether from social anxiety or the deep belief that nothing will help them. For these individuals, simply reaching out for help is an act of courage and Charlotte deeply honors that. She meets clients where they are, acknowledges the strength it took to seek therapy, and works alongside them to rewrite their stories. Her goal is not just to help clients get through tough times, but to teach them how to become their own guides and navigate life with confidence, purpose, and enthusiasm.
Charlotte takes an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet clients’ unique needs. Treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Hypnotherapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She is skilled in addressing a variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and personality disorders.
She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College, Los Angeles, CA, and a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. She has over 25 years of behavioral health experience.
Charlotte joined the Weekend Therapy team in January 2025, where she functions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
